The English Shaddock is an exotic large citrus (Citrus maxima) fruit also called Pummelo antique forebear of the frequent grapefruit. The shaddock named after an English ocean captain, Captain Shaddock, who presented the tree to the West Indies. In Bengali language called Batabi Labu. It is the biggest of the citrus natural products with very circular formed. The skin is green to yellow and a little rutted flesh color ranges from pink to rose, very thick and soft outer layer. Shaddock commonly has 16-18 segments. It is sweeter than a grapefruit and can be eaten new. Utilize as great for jams, jams and syrups.

eastern nations checking Bangladesh, China, Japan, India, Fiji, Malaysia, and
Thailand. It is also grown in the Caribbean and in California and Florida.
Shaddocks are especially well known for Chinese New Year. Shaddock is one of
the favorite fruit for Bangladeshi villagers. Shaddock is similar to the orange
and the lemon. The pear-shaped fruit look like grapefruit, being lemon yellow
and having a spicy, tart and pleasant flavor. The seasonal fruit Shaddock
blossoming flowers in October and November.
